Raindrop realized that Alpha had taken it the wrong way.
No, not like that, I mean I love you, Raindrop said before sprinting out of camp.
She ran till her lunges burned and her eyes watered. What would he think of what I said, she asked herself as she sat down on a soft patch of grass.

That left Spartan dumbfounded, so much in fact he sat back on his hunches with a very confused expression for a good few minutes, before going to chase after Raindrop.

Raindrop sat beside the river. She sighed, who was she kidding, Alpha probably only liked her as a packmate. I cant believe I said that to him, she thought flustered.

He trotted threw the forest, trying to trace where Raindrop had went. He liked her, sure, but not love yet. Though he had to admit he wouldn't appose to having a mate, but he much preferred to take things slow. Love was such a fragile thing.

Blue saw Hekera. She ducked her head and moved out of her way. She knew Soot hadnt said anything to her yet, neither had the pup, Blaze. Blue turned and quickly left to her little den, out of sight of the alpha.

Spartan heard the howl and followed it to the river, when he spotted Raindrop, he howled back.
