"I didn't mean to make her sad, I just don't like women least not like that..."

She stiffens as some brush rustles near her.

"What do you mean?" Crow asked as he set to prepare the meal.
"You know very well what I mean. I like men okay. I told her that and she got all sad about it."

A griffin cub wanders out of the brush.

Crow gave a surprised look then smirked a bit. "There's nothing wrong with that. Least you gave her the truth before anything happened."
"But is hurt her feelings." Dexion huffed.
"That's to be expected. Just talk to her once she calms down."

She gently strokes the cub, trying to stop crying.

"C-can I tell you something?" Dexion said blushing.
"Of course."
"I think you are a really great guy." Dexion smiled nervously. "And handsome." He muttered.

The cub cuddles up by her.

"What was that last part?" Crow grinned.
"Nothing." Dexion blushed. "I-I'm going to go check on Kelpie I'll be back."

She stands and silently heads further into the forest.
