Alec gave a shy smile in response before the food arrived. Again, he thanked the waitress politely and declined the sauces. He looked at the burger and salad he had ordered and examined it for a moment. Then he took a bite. "Mmm," he hummed quietly.

"Good isn't it? Sure beats having to make it yourself as well." Gale said as he poured a bit of syrup all over his plate. With that he fell silent as he ate, simply thinking of what else he was going to say towards the other man. Maybe after this they could walk back to the house and keep each other company. That's what you did after a date right?

"I suppose a break from cooking and then cleaning up after it is nice. But I have always preferred a homecooked meal," the elven mage replied. He went back to eating, also falling into silence. He wasn't sure what to expect once they were done. Would they say their goodbyes and go their separate ways? Would they stay together a little longer?

"So want to go back to my place after this?" Gale asked as he nearly finished up his food.

Alec was working on his salad when the question was dropped. He looked up quickly, then gave a little nod. "Yeah, that sounds nice."

"Anything particular you had in mind of doing or should I use my imagination?" Gale teased.

(Are they going to do the dirty? Just wondering what you had in mind.)

Alec thought about it, not quite catching the context of Gale's teasing as he finished up. "Um... it is really cold. Just cuddling sounds nice."

((I really have no preference at the moment. But if it seems like this is slowing down, I have the perfect action/drama packed idea to pseed it back up.))

Gale looked at him a bit surprised before smiling. "Whatever you say boss." He smiled happily. "Just put it on my tab Betty!" He said as he rose to leave.

Alec wiped his mouth before standing with him. "So.... you will pay for all this later? Is that what "putting it on your tab" means?" He asked as he put his coat back on. He had taken it off about half way through the meal due to getting a bit hot.

"Yep, I'll pay it once payday comes." Gale said before healing to the door and holding it open for the man. As the elf passed through the door he caught him again, pulling him close into a passionate kiss. "So are we going to leave it at just cuddling or would you like to take it a bit further?" He asked after a moment.
