"I was suggesting we offer you a job, but we will not force you. You see, I am the main general here for both war and governmental institutes. My bubbly attitude was merely a cover for who I really am. This crystal was once a person, wise and pure, but now he advises me in my decisions. Its very hard to explain. We want you as my second in command so that I may train you. Why you may ask? we have traced your linage back to your grandfather, who once ruled this land. We believe that you will be able to take your rightful place on the throne." Several guards surrounded them and grabbed tymitha. Haven sighed and said, "Ek het vir jou ges dit was nie nodig nie, los haar alleen." Immediately the guards bowed and left, apologizing to tymitha.

Tymitha looked around at the guards.
"Why would I want to join you? Was all you said to me just a lie? Was the entire boat thing a lie? I don't really think I can trust you." Tymitha said, not wanting to sound disrespectful, but also not wanting to join the nation, or whatever it was.

"The boat 'thing' was no lie, i really do need to get that herb to the down under, but i had no plan to vacate there. I have duties. I swear on my life, my position, and my heritage that every word I said concerning you and this city is true." She put a hand on her heart and looked tymitha in the eye.

Tymitha stared back at her, wondering if what she was saying was true.
"Even if it was true, you could've just told me from the beginning. At least that would've built some trust. Just dropping this after we've escaped some slaver isn't going to make me just join on a whim. At least give me some time to think about it."

"May I show you too your room? I will have dinner prepared. I personally am starving" Haven said as she snapped her fingers and a guard nodded to get the chef to prepare a meal.

Tymitha was still suspicious of this sudden change of pace, but she felt that if she got some sleep she would be better able to make a good decision.

Haven opened the door. "I will send my servant jone to get you when supper is finished"

Tymitha stared in wonder at her bedroom. The carvings were strange, but beautiful. She sat on her bed and waited for the servant to come.

Almost half an hour later, jove came. He was tall and muscular, as were most male shifters. "Miss Tymitha? I am here to escort you to dinner."

Tymitha stared in wonder at the scene around her. Everywhere there were glowing lights and flowers. How was someone able to make this? She looked around for Haven, trying to find her to ask her the millions of questions that had popped up in her head while she looked around.
