"Oh, he is. Just... easily distracted." Shadow huffed. "Ghost isn't back yet, either," Holter observed.
Shadow's ears went erect at the comment. "....Oh. I bet I know what they're doing. Of course. Two cocks strutting up and down with their heads in the clouds. Yeah. We'll be better off just meeting them there...."
His words trailed off as a blue shape whizzed past them and slid to a halt, kicking up sand. "Yo, Shadz!" He greeted. "Ghost decided to stay with the Emerald, so I just went ahead. Knowing him, he'll probably take his sweet time-- An hour, maybe longer. I mean, technically, he has that sort of time, so... that's a thing," He reported before noticing Holt and Val, bright green eyes meeting theirs.
"Uh... I don't think we've met. The name's Sonic. Well, you probably knew that, if you watch the news," He said with a broad smirk that seemed to make the already warm island a little bit brighter. A long red and white scarf drifted in the wind behind him, tied loosely around his neck.
