"Makes sense. Anyway, here's the 411 about the dance- theme is 'Midnight Masquerade'. So a bunch of people in matching masks and all that." She rolled her eyes. "Ugh couples. Anyway, we're splitting into pairs, each assigned to do something specific."

"Me? No. I had some other stuff do do for Student Council, but I decided to help out the Homecoming Committee because barely anyone joined this year. So far they bought stuff for decorations. We just need to make some more stuff and then the day of the dance we put everything up. Food orders are gonna be a while in advance but we'll pick everything up the day of the dance as well."
Bambi sure liked to talk, that was obvious. She turned to glance at Nick. "Have a date to Homecoming yet?"
