Ignotia stopped talking, shushing Desdemona quietly and listening. A rustle was heard outside their small cave, shaking the bushes shielding the opening from sight before it passed on. They stayed quiet for some time, waiting to see if it happened again. When the rustling didn't make another appearance, they let out simultaneous sighs of relief.

"Anyway, on to the story I suppose?" Ignotia smiled gently.

Uru smiled softly. "It's my honor to let you be Alpha forthe time being, Althea." she said before walking with Anubis to her den. She layed down softly. "I need to sleep." she whispered before closing her eyes and falling asleep.

Uru soon awoke the next morning. "Shadow, where is Skit?" she asked, wondering if Skit had ran off or followed Uru's command.



Skit knew she was best with the Lore's, for she couldn't protect her Alpha. "Maybe i'll go rogue." she said to herself. She soon made up her mind and ran out of the den sites, going rogue.

Dante saw Squirrel and smiled. "Thank you Squirrel!" he barked.

Bano followed after Squirrel.

The male wolf nodded laying next her staying awake until she woke the next day. He had a job to be done, so he was doing it. Anubis yawned as the others began to wake from their rest. It was not amusing to have to stay up, but at least now he had a purpose to it now. He laid his head down on his paws listening.

"I haven't seen him today, or yesterday for that matter," Shadow replied.

No sign of potential prey yet. Squirrel looked over at Bano. "So... where were you all day yeasterday? I saw you leave the camp but I didn't know why,"

Ignotia gave a cough before he began spinning his tale, "A long time ago, when I was a pup not so different from you, a great Alpha lived, kind and strong. His name was Lunarius and he was quite old. He didn't let it stop him though, he was very large in muscle despite the pain his aching bones gave him. His fur was akin to the midnight skies in the times of frozen fall, before the Great Cold swept the land. His eyes burned a golden yellow, glowing like the moon, as if the goddess Diana had blessed him herself."

"Lunarius was the former Alpha of my pack back then, and I had held a significantly large amount of respect for him. Not once did he snap at me, unlike so many others of pack that did. He was patient with me and my questions, teaching me many things. Things like leadership, forgiveness, love, hate, loyalty, and even things like medicine and strategy amongst other important things. It wasn't until much later that I'd discover why he was doing this," he sighed.

He was quiet for only a few seconds before continuing, "Lunarius, because it was getting much to cold to survive in the Upper North, lead the entire pack to the middle of the Lower North, near the Reindeer Lake. However, there were... complications that came with the move."

It was the next morning when she decided she needed to call a meeting. She looked up at the rock where Uru usually sat and hesitated. She decided it would be the same if she sat at the bottom, so she let out a loud howl, calling all of the pack to her.

Noal bowed his head to Venom then ran back to his territory. I wonder what I have missed! What if there was a battle with loners, or a bear, or even Lore! Noal walked into camp, seeing Althea calling a meeting, and hesitated. Is Uru okay?? What have I missed?! "Althea? Is everything okay?"

Relief washed over her as she saw Noal come back. He was safe. He's the lead warrior.. You shouldn't worry about him.. She told herself. "Don't worry.. Uru is fine, Il explain when everyone has gathered. Anubis is with her, so is Shadow."

"The new guy? Didn't they like, just meet yesterday?" Noal walked over and laid down in front of Althea,"So, How was your day so far?" He started making small talk.

"Yes they did.. He spent the night with her in her den, guarding her. I feel bad for saying this but I don't completely trust him yet.. Uru trusts him.. But he was a rogue just a couple nights ago.." She shook her head, clearing her thoughts. " There was a stampede. Uru got hurt and she is unable to walk, I am to act as Alpha until she recovers." She looked down. "Il do my best. Though I believe I am unfit for the job."
She dug her paw into the earth.

"Oh, I wanted to tell you, I met two rogues during the stampede. A male and a pup. I want the patrols to watch out for them, but I don't want them injured. Bring them back here so Alpha can decide what to do. Il tell the hunters to watch out as well when everyone has gathered for the meeting." She said, changing the subject.
