"I just think mutants havent been in here, I think we should open it."

Jackie wiped off the rest of the dust. She turned the knob slowly. It took a little bit of tugging, but she opened it.
Inside was a musty room full of cobwebs. It was almost like an attic.
"What do you suppose is in here?" Jackie dodged a loose floorboard.

"Who knows?" she said as she felt around for a light switch.

Jackie fumbled around in the dark. "Hey, what's this on the ground?" She felt something round. Jackie coughed. "Is it a manhole cover?"

"Who knows?" she said as she found the light switch.

Jackie watched as the light flooded the room."Hey, it is." Jackie whacked it with her pole. It made a little dent. "Is it worth a shot?"

She shrugged,"Maybe."

Jackie whacked it again.
And again.
and again.
She heard a weird crack. "Is that a good thing?" she tugged it. It opened, slightly broken. Jackie almost hurt her hand.
There was a ladder down to a dark sewer. "Well, we'll never know unless we check." Jackie began to climg down.

She walked over and started to descend, catching her arm and scratching it.
