"hum... Well I do believe we went in a fairly linear path, so if we just turn around we'll probably get back? Maybe above the trees this time though...": She said, more thoughtful than an actual idea.

(I'm gonna go in a few minutes. Sleep is calling XD)

Nodding he added his wings and took off in the sky enjoying the wind running through his fur. Seeing Kitty below him he looked back up to run into a cloud. Bursting through flapping his wings faster, he saw bird staring at him with confused, tiled heads. Winking he flew past leaving a blushing bird. The wind flattening his ears and fur to his body, he became streamline. Leaving a sharp whistling behind him he grinned and saw the house coming in to view. Slowly a evil smirk came to mind.

Paint waiting outside the burrow with a sad face plastered on as she searched the sky. Sighing she looked down, tears dripping from her tightly closed orbs.

Scourge circled over head and let the shadow dissolve in the the sunlight. Diving he dropped below her attaching the wings again just before he landed. A loud "WHOOSH" Echoed as he stood on his hind-legs, he fore paws curled tightly to his chest with his wings flared out blocking the sky.

Whipping her head towards Quest she gasped, with a watery smiled she lunged at him. Hugging him she cried openly on him.

Sighing, Zear fell behind Quest in flight. She eventually reached home and landed, her wings tired from the flight.

Vyp had come up after noticing Zear was back, and he approached her. "Where did you go?" His voice was quiet and still a bit shaky. "I went flying. With Quest. His shadows aren't just shadows, apparently. They're tangible and can actually do things." She explained.

(One more day of semester exams and I'm free of school for winter break! :D)

(I HAVE WINTER BREAK, I'M FREE!)

Growling, Scourge ripped her off and moved away. He dislike her physical affection. Glancing at Fish ears, he sniffed and limped away. They just kept blabbering about him even though he said not to. Curling in his burrow he let out an airy sigh, thinking about how he liked his calm quite life before this.

Walking over to Zear she heard "I went flying. With Quest. His shadows aren't just shadows, apparently. They're tangible and can actually do things." Tilting her head she said "Really?! Like what?".

"Well, they can make wings that can fly. They're not like my illusions, which can only be seen." She explained. Vyp was thinking about how everything had come to happen. If he never went to that cafe, this probably wouldn't be happening right now. It would still just be him and Zear. Maybe it's a good thing this happened.

(lucky. >.<)

(XD! Did I say Scourge was gonna try and be nice?)

"Wow!" She said, her love for Quest growing. Glancing at Vyp she sighed, he needed to calm down.

Going deeper in the tunnels, Scourge paced thinking if he should leave the group. Sitting he weighed the pro's and con's of it. Seeing for pro's for leaving he decided to at the cover of dark tonight.

(yeah. Leaving? Paint is not gonna like that o.o)

"Yeah, it is pretty cool. Anyway, Vyp, You should really try not to think about it, okay? It won't help anything..." Zear said, worried about Vyp. "Yeah, whatever" He said, and went to the river to think.

(Ok. XD!)

Looking at Vyp she frowned. "What's eating at him?" She asked plopping herself to the ground looking up at Zear.

Poking his head out he saw Fish ears by the river. Walking over he was next to, but not sitting "Yeah yea Fish ears.".

"He's feeling terrible about snapping at Quest. Sometimes he loses control of his emotions, which is why he usually tries to be polite and nice." Zear knew all to well about Vyp's emotional state.

Vyp jumped a bit, not expecting anyone to be here "Oh, uh, hey. I'm sorry for snapping at you. It was seriously out of line..." He said, hoping Quest wouldn't be as mad.

Her eye twitching, she decided she needed to keep an eye out for Quest about Vyp.

Flaring his small nose, he said calmly "Oh ho ho, you have no idea how mad I am right know!" He said with a big forced smile. "But, I will not try and murder you!". Walking away he kicked some sand at Fish ears.
