(Just realized that Alexis's dragon hasn't shown up. Would you like that to happen soon? :0)
Kavaratti pauses before reciprocating, arms settling in a soft embrace across her back. "Thank you for trusting me like this," he says, just- grateful. Grateful that he's gotten the chance to get to know her.

(If you want to stick to the original HTTYD, we could set something up where Alexis starts helping out in the village, and one of her inventions help trap a dragon? Otherwise, they could meet him while they're out for some reason or anothermaybe building the workshop? It's your choice since it's your dragon. :D We can also wait a bit until after Alexis and Kavaratti get their relationship going if you'd prefer.)
They stay like that, maybe for a minute or maybe for a moment, before Kavaratti's parents announce the beginning of dinner.
The eternity seems to shift in that moment as Kavaratti breaks apart with a helpless smile, wide in the low light. "I'll go help them set dinner up," he tells her. "Feel free to come down whenever you're ready."
He pauses at the doorway and looks back. "...Thank you," he says. "That was wonderful."

(Lets wait for them to get more involved in their relationship. Once they become boyfriend and girlfreind, then the dragon can show up.)
Alexis just smiled and enjoyed the moment, before blinking and blushing when Kavarattis parents announced the dinner. When Kavaratti thanked her, she blushed and nodded, smiling. *your welcome. And thank you.*

Kavaratti rejoins his family, stepping around with a nostalgic familiarity as he places thin plates beside the steaming fish and chicken roasts on the patio. "Alexis is getting ready, but she should be coming down in a bit," he says.
As such, his parents and sister linger conversing around the fire pit, engaged in quiet conversation.

After a few minutes, Alexis walked over and joined the group. She had freshened herslef up so she didnt look like she had been crying, and now had a soft, if shy, smile on her face.

Kavaratti gives Alexis a slight nod upon catching sight of her and gestures towards the open patio. "Feel free to try whatever you want," he says, filling his own wood-carved bowl with a scoop of baked corn and roast fish.

She smiled and looked at all of the food. *what is all this? We didnt have much back on Berk.* she said, interested.
Considering the sizes of all the people on the island, it was more like SHE didnt have much.

Kavaratti blinks, gazing down at the food in his hands before realization colors his eyes. "Well, this is some of catch that came from the fishermen we saw this morning."
"Well," his mother says, "we have more than enough, so feel free to take as much as you like. There's a few different types, all mixed together."

She looked up and smiled, daring to believe. *really?* she asked in a voice that they all recognized as a girl who wasnt used to such kindness.
