She hurriedly gets up too.



She frowns deeply, but doesn't stop him. After about half an hour, she comes over, with a large slab of cleaned meat. She puts it over the fire.

Out the window a large black horse walks down the street stopping briefly under a streetlamp. He glances up in their direction before he walks away over the cobblestones that made his hooves hurt.



Lycan looks up at the meat, "Is that all of it?"

She watches, concerned.



"No. I can get you more if you want, but you looked like you didn't want to see the body."

"Should we go out there?"



"The body doesn't bother me so much as the scent of blood triggers the wolf side of me. It's not easy keeping it under control."

She hesitates a moment, then nods.

"Oh. Well, it'll be cooked soon. I can get you more if you're still hungry after."

Chelsea carefully sneaks over the carpet and grabs her key before she motions to the door.



"Thanks but make sure you eat your fill too," Lycan says. He lifts his head up and looks around, sniffing the air.

She follows silently.


She nods. "I've had plenty already, and I can save whatever you don't eat."

(Sorry I was sick all day yesterday.)


Chelsea carefully slips out of the house and makes sure the cats don't follow her, as she leads Rim outside.



Lycan nods once and eats most of the meat almost raw.

She follows her silently.


"I can get more if you want it."

Donavan senses them but stays still, he wanted a better look at them.
Chelsea walks closer to Donavan.


"It's okay, I'm not that hungry," Lycan responds, "So how long have you lived out here?"
