"That leopard's been at our throats for years. Guess he doesn't like where it's built because that land could be his territory instead. But the Press has been there for about a century, and it's not like the land was stolen, either." Joe replied.

Grumbling Night disappears.

"That's half the reason," Kini speaks, "the other half is that land belonged to the Winter clan for over a milenium and when they lost that land over a hundred years ago they were forced out because someone wanted to make a quick buck. Without giving you a history lesson the Winter clan is bloodthirsty and will take it out on those who it sees as the enemy."

Joe frowned. "So, wait, the Press took the land?" He asked. "Or they were kicked out and it was sold to the Press?"

Rookie put his wallet in his backpack. "Watch it, Burst." He instructed, zipping all of the pockets shut.

"I don't know the answer to that question but what I do know is the Winter clan moved back in and is reclaiming territory they lost," Kini answers, "and the leader is the most dangerous."


Ajal refrains from saying anything.
"Will Burst be able to detect Night's shadow form," Clay asks.

Joe twitched an ear. "Press Garden is the biggest media zone in the archipelago aside from Sutdiopolis." He said. "We can't really let that hapen."

"Maybe. He always glows a little bit." Rookie shrugged.

"Really," Ajal asks.


"I know and I know who to look out for," Kini looks toward the door as a nurse comes in.
"I'm sorry but visiting hours are over," The nurse says.

"Well, you can see it better at night." Rookie replied.

Joe stood up and brushed his fluffy coat. "Alright. We can chat tomorrow, okay?" He told Kini. "Oh, and I left something for you on the table there. Set it up when you get a chance." He added before he left. "See ya."

"Okay," Kini looks at the table, "what is it?"
"Try to rest Kini," The fallow deer nurse told him.



"True," Ajal agrees.

"It isn't urgent. I thought it'd be useful to have, is all. Open it whenever." Joe replied before leaving.
