True, but if they were all in the state that they had been as they died, they might still carry the virus. Which didn't make any sense, because the virus infected the body, and since ghosts don't have bodies...

(It's not actually a virus- I haven't decided exactly what it is, but it's for certain not a virus)


Then again, if they brought the sickness when they died, a whole bunch of ghosts would be sick, including the little girl. And the girl seems to be okay other than the fact she's dead.

(Well, names of sicknesses tend to be...confusing. To me, anyway. For example, the scientific name for strep.)

Yeah. If the sickness would've prolonged it, maybe someone would've coughed up a lung.

Right. So they didn't bring it with them, or if they did it no longer affects them.
