Kit nodded, "Fair enough, tho Hedge still sometimes calls Knuckles an Enchilada, whenever we have the food, we mention when Hedge couldn't pronounce Echidna properly and we laugh about it." she said with a chuckle.

"Yeah, same thing." Sonic said with a grin.

Kit chuckled, "Hedge tho always teases me about being a whimp when first meeting you when we bring up the Enchilada thing."

Sonic tilted his head slightly. "Weeellll.... I mean, you were pretty.... skiddish."

Kit gave him a glare, her ears pinning back slightly, "I lived on the street and couldn't really trust anyone, even other kids who lived on the street didn't trust each other."

"Knuckles grew up alone too, so did Tails and myself before we met eachother, and don't even get me started on Shadow's backstory-- Uh, that's not my point. At beginning you were sorta just... uh, there. Like, you were avoiding us but you wanted to stick around at the same time? Does that make sense? I didn't know what your deal was, but I get it better now, I'd say." Sonic explained.

Kit shrugged, "I wanted to stick around to see what happens in your life on a daily basis I guess, but I also didn't want to get too close in case I had to leave or was left behind or something."

(I seem to have a habit of making my characters depressed)

Sonic nodded. "Heh. Figured as much."

Kit shrugged, "It's tough living be yourself and not trusting many people."
