She grins at her.


She sings again. The deer sways a little, then falls asleep in her arms. Still gently holding it, she takes out her knife.

Chelsea sits down besides Rim as the movie starts.


Lycan turns around and covers his eyes and tries to think happier thoughts.

She smiles at her.


When he turns back around, the deer is dead. The cut she's made is gentle and, with the deer being asleep, painless.

The movie plays the opening theme as the cats get comfortable.


Lycan is grateful that the process was painless for the deer but still the way she did it unnerved him.

She smiles, watching.


She glances at him, and gestures with her free hand to take the earplugs out.

The movie plays and the cats settle down trying to steal popcorn.


Lycan takes the earplugs out and tries not to gag slightly.

She pets the cats, though she keeps them from stealing the popcorn.


She gently sets down the deer body.

The cats enjoy the petting as they switch between Rim and Chelsea frequently.



Lycan glances over at Delta, "Quite the method you have."

She smiles and keeps petting them.


"It's more humane." She gazes at him.

Chelsea quickly stands up dumping a cat out of her lap as she looks around. She walks to her window and looks outside.
"Rim you have to see this."



Lycan closes his mouth and just nods slightly. He backs away another few paces as he looks at the deer.
"I'm sorry the smell is getting to me, if I don't transform, I'll be really lucky. The scent of fresh blood gets to me every time. I'll be near the fire if you need me."
He quickly walks away.
