Mrs. Hoowlers shook his hand, "Sonic the hedgehog I know who you are."


Kini looks at Joe, "Easy buddy you start carrying one with that crowd and they notice you will be their first target. I know Gogi is pals with an owl and a lynx so keep your eyes open."

Joe grimmaced. "No, no, I won't go around looking to shot them or anything! It'd be a self defence measure and nothing else." He clarified

"Yep. Mrs. Hoowlers, right? Luna's anut?" Sonic made sure.

"Oh in that case yes," Kini agrees.


"Yes to both," Mrs. Hoowlers answers.

"Well, it's nice to meet chya!" The hedgehog chimed.

Joe smiled, then hesitated, ears perking up. "Oh, that remins me!" He exclaimed, opening the drawer on his desk and handing Kini an envlope. "This is for you."

Knuckles stirred again, and opened an eye to glance up.

"Nice to meet you as well," Mrs. Hoowlers spoke.


Kini hesitantly takes the envelope, "What is it?"


Ajal lifts his head as Clay and he wrestle.

Sonic smiled and retrected his hand. "Secret meeting, huh?"

"Open it." Joe urged. "I promise it's not a bomb or toxic powder or anything." He added as a joke once he noticed the look.

Knuckles gazed at the two lazily, not sure if he wanted to ruin the moment with words. He vaguely recalled Clay blaming him for a sector collapsing.... He huffed. That was an issue he'd have to deal with later.

Clay looks up and sniffs the air as Ajal pins him to the ground, "Say it say it."
"Okay okay you win, uncle," Clay gave up.


"Hardly," Mrs. Hoowlers spoke.


Kini's ears flattened against his head after Joe added the joke, "I trust you so it better not be what you say it isn't." With a flick of his claw the envelope is open and Kini jumps back as he drops the letter. After giving the letter another quick once-over he gets what's inside it.

"Dude. I'm in the same room as you. Why would I put a bomb or toxic powder in that?" Joe dryly remarked.

The letter was adressed from Sakura. "That's your confirmation letter." Joe explained with a smile. "You got the job."

"Well, I know how G.U.N. agents are. I know because I personally know three and crossed paths with dozens of others." Sonic shrugged.

Knuckles sighed and let his eyes fall shut again. Oh, well. There was time for that later...
Wait.
'Uncle'? He thought.

"It's saying he surrenders Knuckles," Ajal explains.


Kini smiles, "Great I'll start now." He quickly reads through the letter, "Did you help Miss Sakura agree?"


"True I've heard you have but this is just one quiet place we come to think," Mrs. Hoowlers states.

"Nope. That was all you." Joe said.

"Heh heh... How much do you know about me?" Sonic asked hesitantly.

"So, calling somebody uncle means you surrender?" Knuckles remarked, sitting upright. "You lowlanders sure are confusing sometimes..."
