Jason had his head in his hands as he had his elbows to the table as he thought. "I don't mind.But I'm not hungry,thank you. I'm just...stumped. I'm built for battle and ripping things to shreds,not...riddles." He said,then dropped his head to the table with a soft sigh. "Lila's better at this than me,even Silver could do it." He muttered.

"Don't be like that. I'm sure you're hungry." Puck entered with a plate bearing sandwiches and apple slices. "Here," he announced, setting it down on the table. "You should eat something. I tried making something better, but Cook chased me out of the kitchen with a rolling pin. I dont think shes very fond of me." He snickered and sat next to Jason, helping himself to an apple slice as he got comfortable.

Jason leaned a bit on Puck,sighing softly. "Heh,I could see why. But being serious,I don't see how anyone couldn't be fond of you." He tentatively took an apple slice and ate a bit,wincing as he used his fractured fangs. Sure,they were strong still as before,but just sensitive still.

"Heh. You'd be surprised at how many people aren't fond of me, then." Puck replied, stuffing the whole apple wedge into his mouth. "Hey." Puck sat up and put an arm around Jason. "Why are you freaking out? This is nothing, dragon boy. This should be cake for you. Youre the one who took down the Iron King. You marched into the heart of enemy territory and kicked butt. This isnt any different."

"They didn't try to stop me,and I only was able to shoot the arrow because he was jabbering on and on. I was lucky he angered me enough for me to force my body any farther,because otherwise I wouldn't have been able to do a thing. And i only got there because of you and...well,I didn't do it alone." He said with a shake of his head. "My brains used to doing a cappella with my siblings left over,fighting things that are unpredictable and finding my way around new places everytime I'm placed somewhere new every month or two. Not riddles,those I've always sucked at." He pulled at his hair,wishing he had his hoodie to pull over his head rather than pulling at those white tips of his rich brown hair.

Puck shifted so that he was facing Jason, tilting his chin to look at him square. There were a hundred churning emotions in his emerald gaze. "Im here," he murmured, running his fingers through Jason's hair. "Dont forget that. No matter what happens, Ill protect you." He leaned in, resting his forehead to Jason's. "Ill never leave your side, no matter what comes at us. Count on it." He hated having to hear about everything Jason had to go through...without him.

Jason was so thankful for Puck,and he let himself fall into his words and calm in those emotions in his green eyes,his own hazel and purple ones thankful and loving. "Thank you...It's nice to hear it from someone and not get shoved to the side." He said with a small smile,closing his eyes and relishing the feeling of someone close and not talking harsh and shoving him away or pulling away. Flasher never held him for long and Silver was moving farther from him as he grew up. Lila wasn't rude but she was always fretting over how he dressed and talked slang at times,or if he was gone to long and getting himself moved over and over.

And Puck kissed Jason. His lips were hesitant at first, brushing lightly against his, giving him room to pull away

Jason didn't want to pull away though,and so he kissed him back. He kissed with passion and emotion,but he was careful incase Puck changed his mind about it.

Yeah, Puck would change his mind about Jason in about...never! He caressed Jason's face with a hand, murmuring against his lips, "Don't worry, we'll figure something out, I'm sure." He was referring to the code
