Sure, you can request a male. It could be a minute before one crops up naturally, though.

As for the other shiny girl you found, she's a Halloween offspring. I hope to complete a 6V Halloween project in the next few months. When I do, I'm sure I'll have lots of various babies for sale. ^.^
