"Yes. People were after me. I had to go in hiding." Aiden said. "So your not upset I kill people for a living."

Edith shrugs. "I don't much care for looking at a person for where they work." She smiled slightly. "If it defined them, I'm just a cleaning maid. So you went into hiding to protect Mury?"

"Yes. I mean just because I kill people doesn't mean. I don't care for Mury. I deeply care for her."Aiden said and drank a bit for the beer bottle.

"How long before you figured out that you needed to protect her by leaving?" She asked grabbing another beer handing it to him.

"A while." Aiden said, and grabbed the other beer. And popped it up.

Edith glared at him. "Did she get hurt before that? What did you guys do that would put her in danger?" She asked two in a row to try and make it a little less lengthy.

"Just some guys found me. And I don't want them to know I was with Mury. So I left."

Edith sighed. "Why didn't you try and explain it to Mury before you left? I mean, I know she wouldn't listen to it but did you even try?"

"No. I think, I don't remember." Aiden said.

"Then that's what you need to say to her!" Edith said slamming her tray down on the counter in front of Aiden. "Tell her why you left and didn't let her go with you." She said smiling a little.
