He read it over,then spoke it out loud. He seemed confused once done though. His freckles swirled with a confusion of neon colors,clashing in strange shapes.
"Hm....would it have anything to do with how it sounds when spoken?" He muttered,Fatespeaker thinking a bit and tapping the table with her tail a bit. Shade was calming a little but didn't seem to want to go near this new looking Jason. "The order,the fact that there's ones and three's,so why no other numbers to make it more of a jumble?" He was more talking to himself than anyone else.

Its not just a number riddle, its a language riddle, too! Grim was right! Each of the lines describes the line before it. The first number is a three, so the second line goes, One 3. The next line is One 1, One 3, and so on. So, if thats the case, the last line of the riddle, and the answer to the code would have to be...1-1-1-3-1-2-2-1-1-3.

He thought it over but was still not sure of the answer itself,what did that mean. He shook his head a bit. "1-1-1-1-3-1-2-2-1-1-3 but....could it have something to do with a pad lock? There's plenty on that floor but,....code boards,panels,wiring." He muttered more and pulled at his hair a bit. "Does anyone wanna take a shot?" He asked the others,looking to them.

He nodded in understanding,hearing their mutters. "You guys can go for the night,I wanna keep trying." he said,Fatespeaker yawning and fluttering off the table and walking to who knows where she had decided as a place to sleep. Shade seemed happy right there with Puck.

Shade was happy to stay with Puck,fluttering along close by. Jason pulled at his hair as he kept muttering over the riddle,thinking over anything that was possible. "Think about what they'd think. Faey,not humans or dragons,just try to think over what you've seen and heard." He muttered at himself in frustration.

"Hey, Jason. Thought you could use something to eat. Mind if I come in?"
