"I moped for hours, then..." Sonic paused. "Er, you're gonna have to ask Knuckles for his bit of the story. I don't really understand what exaclty happened after that. It was late and I have no idea what emotions crashed inside my head. He just kinda... showed up. I remember being overwhelmed, thought I was halucinating, but we talked for a bit and then I pretty much crashed. I woke up, he was still there."

Kit nodded, her mind wouldn't let her forget when Hedge got shot till she told someone and her fears during that time.

"And... that was it." Sonic replied. "He stuck with me for like a week, just making sure I was alright every ten minutes. I wasn't sure ehat to think, but I kinda worked through it."

Kit nodded, she would constantly worry about her brothers and mother, and in turn, they would worry about her and her health.

Sonic shrugged. "You okay? You look thoughtful." He noticed.

Kit let out a shaky sigh, "A while ago, Hedge got caught in a gun fight, he ended up getting shot in the shoulder. I was right there... and I couldn't do anything." As she spoke her voice grew shaky, tears rose in her eyes.

Sonic pulled her back into a hug, deciding not to ask about it.

Kit hugged him back tightly as she cried into his shoulder.

Sonic waited for her to calm down in silence, a peice of his mind wondering if sharing his tale was the best idea.

Kit sniffled as she pulled away, her fur was ruffled by the wind, revealing the scars on her arms that had healed over time.
