There doesn't seem to be one, but that was predictable knowing that this was a older room. As you made your way back to the desk, you tripped and fell on the ground. Muttering, you searched for what you tripped for.

You find an unusually large crack in the floor. Do you investigate?

I do my best to pry up the floorboard, not wanting to stick my hand down there and get it lopped off

About 5 steps down, a crackling sound echos before fire lights up on torches attached to the walls.

Now that there's light, you can see some strange markings on the walls that are readable if you look at them a certain way, but if not them they're just symbols.
