"You did? Is it a secret passage?" He stood beside her, trying to see

"Im not sure," Desta answers feeling along it and falling it, "Ouch defintly a passageway watch the steps."

He carefully follows, and despite her warning he just about falls down

Desta gets up at the bottom of the passage way, "You okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine. Just about fell, though. I dunno how the orphans did this, if they did."

"It was probally not them just the head master or head mistress going out unnoticed," Desta explains, "don't ask me to explain how I know this."

He obeyed and didn't ask, just followed.

Desta runs her hand along the wall, "We need light. Do you have a match or something? Or a candle?"

"I saw a candle that was almost all the way melted. It's useless if you don't have something to light it with, though."

"I can light it so go grab it," Desta pulls out a knife and a bit of stone.
