The only issue with that was Val was nearly as fast as Night which was fast. Val slips into the shadows using his dark magic and disappears.

"Naw. Watch this!" Sonic chimed, before zig-zagging back and forth across the room. A minute or so later, the hedgehig had a good amount of wreckage cleared.
Rookie glanced around as well.

After a few minutes of this, Sonic glanced out the window and noticed Knuckles leaning against the side of the house, eyes narrowed.
Rookie began cleaning in the workshop, then paused as something caught his eye. "Er, Tails?" He called.
