"Found it."
Scias waved from the other side, prying the grate to the ventilation system up and off to the side with his claws before hopping inside.

(Just a heads up, on my phone right now so things might get a bit misspelled)

"Ok" she whispered, " We are just here for info, so this shouldnt be too much trouble. Just dont do anything stupid." Zeth teased

She knew that vents could be fragile at times, so she had her fingers crossed that this wouldn't go to terribly wrong.

(Time to evoke the powers of DM and let a d20 decide.

Scias was careful enough to avoid a broken, hard to see part of the vent ahead, poking his head slightly out the hole as he heard the sound of voices below.
He motioned Zeth to stay quiet as he listened closely.

She nodded on agreement, really wanting to have a way to get a look. The issue was, if she could see them, then they could probably see her, she she would have to go by sound alone. She could barely make out what they were saying.

Something Something, human, Something blah blah, in a few days.

"Can you make out what they are saying?"

"My hearing's definitely way better than yours, but I still can't make out anything over the sound of the ventilation rumbling. We're gonna have to get closer."
He slipped out of the vent, quietly scaling himself over the top of it as he tried to listen harder.
With any luck, he wouldn't be noticable provided no one looked up for too long.

"What are they saying?" she whispered, unwilling to take the risk of climbing out. "Anything good?"

She couldn't quite hear them, and something about this building prevented her from using her horns to pin-point them. She couldn't figure out why though. Supposing Zeth didn't have to fire a gun while they were her, the uselessness of her horns wouldn't matter..

(I rolled a d20 as well, for kicks and giggles....rolled a one. Zeth is screwed XD)

(swear I'm just going to end up taking over this group's plot myself..

"Something about using a human they've captured for something. Guess they have a plan in works that they want to push through in the next few days. Guess she's worth a lot of money to someone. So.. No. Nothing good."
He flicked his tail, trying to get eyes on the human in question.

(Flame hasn't responded, and I have a few plot ideas if they are needed.)

"I was told that Umbra was running a breeding program. Basil also mentioned it briefly. They are probably talking about that." whispered as she adjusted herself in the vent, making it creak. "Sh!t..." Zeth mumbled, remaining silent for a moment while the people bellow became suspicious. Not. Good.

(yeah may need them, don't feel comfortable using any of the Umbra plotline since Flame was controlling him and I was getting the impression random stuff was just getting thrown our way so.. not sure if she intended to actually do anything with it??)

Scias motioned her to stay silent and still, even staying steady himself as to not draw any further attention.
If worst came to worst, he'd need to fight but.. As much as he was gearing for one, he hoped it wouldn't come to that.
