"I know a place,let's just say I have ways around. I've not kept myself alive just by running off to the dragon realm." He said,patting Puck's shoulder. He was serious,getting tossed around you needed to know your way around,even if the people didn't like you not everyone would rip you apart. "I've got a friend."

"If you're talking about me," Puck muttered so only Jason heard, "I'd hope we're friends with benefits instead of just friends."
"Darling, darling, darling." Leanansidhe waved her hand. "You never turn down a chance to go shopping, pet. Besides, didnt you hear Grimalkin? Even the most powerful glamour has the tendency to unravel if surrounded by steel and iron. We dont want you to look like a corporate worker, dove, we want you to be a corporate worker. And were going shopping, no buts about it." She gave him an indulgent smile. "Think of me as your temporary faery godmother, darling. Just let me get my magic wand."

Jason gave a smile to Lean but then spoke to Puck with the same tone. "Don't worry,we're freinds with benefits. I'm speaking of Lila, just a human that has people under her thumb,and just so happens to have a nak for 'exotic creatures'."

He nodded. "Okay. Good." Leanansidhe pulled Jason down another long corridor that dumped them out onto a sunny sidewalk bustling with people, who didnt notice their sudden appearance from a previously empty alleyway. Even though the sun was shining and the sky was clear, there was a frigid bite to the air, and people hurried down the street in thick sweaters and coats, a sign that winter was on its way or had already arrived.

He spent the rest of the afternoon being dragged from shop to shop, following Leanansidhe as she plucked clothes from racks and shoved them at him, demanding he try them on. He mustve tried on two dozen different styles, colors and combinations before Leanansidhe finally announced that she liked a simple black outfit that looked like every other black outfit he had tried on.

He sighed,smiling a little,and shook his head but gave in. He wasn't about to fight,it was almost as bad as when Lila would begin sizing him and then tailoring things to him and making outfits he never was allowed to keep. She was amazing at a lot of things,so she often was rushing about and fretting over his bloodied cloths whenever she dragged him to her big house and began forcing him to clean up. He wasn't used to the dark color so he felt a little odd about it,and kept shaking the memory of Ash's dark outfits from his mind.

When they returned to the mansion, they found Puck and Ironhorse discussing strategy with Kimi and Nelson, who had returned from their mission. All four were huddled around the library table, heads bent close together, muttering in low voices. When they came in, followed by several redcaps carrying the bags, they straightened quickly, and their eyes went wide. Even Ironhorse's glowing eyes got big and round when they swept through the door.

Jason felt awkward as heck and his tail was between his legs and wings in tight. He so wished he had could hide in his hoodie. His freckles where orange and lavender,the leftover silver sparkling nicely on the scales,which he kept trying to rub off with his palm.

"Wow, Jason!" Kimi bounced in place, clapping her hands. "You look awesome! You're totally gonna fit in in the SciCorp or whatever it's called."

"JASON," Ironhorse looked him up and down, nodding in approval. "TRULY, YOU ARE A VISION."

Puck was staring at Jason in a daze. "Um..." he stammered, the shock with the novelty of actually rendering Puck speechless should he hitting Jason right about...now. "You look...nice," he muttered at last.

Jason wasn't flattered by the others words but he felt his heart skip a beat that Puck stared at him,his freckles going pink and teal. "Th-thanks." He said,mostly to Puck in a way,and he was surprised,okay not fully surprised,that Puck didn't have anything more to say for once. "Sure I can't even wear a black hoodie?"

"Children." Leanansidhe clapped her hands, bringing our attention back to her. "If we are going to retrieve the scepter, we need to move quickly. There's no time to change," she said to Jason
