"Yes being a cop is hard." Aiden said. Unbuckling his seat belt.

Edith climbed out and started walking. "If you are the cop. You aren't and you might want to clean those off if you want to try and fool me." She said pointing at his hands.

(Aiden cleaned off his hands.)

Aiden looked at his hands. "What?"

Edith groaned. "I saw them earlier. What were you trying to do showing bloody hands to Mury?" She walk inside and behind the counter.

"I tripped, and fell on a dead dog. And got blood covered on them." Aiden said. And shoved his hands in his pockets.

Edith rolled her eyes. "Riiiiiiiiiiiight. Like that's believable. Still why wouldn't you clean them off before talking to Mury is that was the case?" She asked pouring a large beer. "Here's the drink I'm buying you. So what happened that made it 'too fast' for you?" She asked putting on her apron.

Aiden held the drink. And looked at the beer. Being silent.

Edith put her elbow on the counter. "Look if you don't start talking I'm taking that away." She said pointing at the beer.

Aiden looked up at Edith. "I just had a lot going on. I just didn't really need to be on a leash." Aiden said.

Edith locked her jaw. "So Mury's a leash?" She said calmly but her eyes were raging.
