"Tells Tails to call the evac off Val isn't there," Night stopped him, "it's not necessary."

Sonic blinked, then shrugged, turning on his comm. "Tails? Night jumped the gun. You don't need to hack the thingy."

"Thank goodness," Tails quickly logged out.

Knuckles turned and walked off, gaze downcast. He appeared irritated about something.

Rookie drummed his fingers on the keyboard he was working at. "Oh."

"Night jumped the gun so we're good," Tails spoke.
"No you aren't," A voice came from behind them.

"What's his problem," Night asks.

Burst chirpped in alarm, and Rookie whirled around in shock.

Sonic studied the echidna for a moment, then shrugged. "Eh. He's just salty about the false alarm. Nothing unusual for him,"

"Okay that I'm fine with," Night sighed.

A silver fox was standing there. He had black eyes with a scar over his left eye, "Hack back into the satilight."
"What if we don't," Tails asks.
"There are things worse then death," The figure spoke.

Rookie glanced over at Tails hesitantly.

Night suddendly tensed up, "Go find Tails."

Tails looks at the dagger in Val's hand, "Who are you?"
"Val."

Rookie bit his lip nervously.

Knuckles bolted and followed suit.
