The air is sharp and crisp, but mottled with little white flakes. Kira is beaming in excitement and anticipation.

He smiled at Kira.

She eagerly types on the tablet. "We aren't far off from home. Maybe an hour at most!"

She points at the horizon. "If you look closely, you can see the northmost mountain. It overlooks the city!"

He smiled.

"The castle sits right below it. It's between the two top peaks, so when the shadows fall it's still in the light." She describes excitedly.
