What the heck was going on? Hexic couldn't read their lips from this distance, and even if his hearing was starting to come back, he had no idea what they were saying.

"And.. here I thought you were just some defenseless little kid." Scias chuckled weakly as he felt his forehead beginning to spark. The device that Laske had tried to use had gotten partially fried by his body's flowing current, leaving part of his face deformed and oozing black where it burned. He fumbled to try to fish it out through his limited range of vision before it somehow did any more harm to him.

Um. Is he okay? Hexic hadn't seen a lot of aliens like that before, and he wasn't sure what they could or could not do. For some reason, Hexic was actually worried for the guy. Worried enough to hop down from his branch, transform back, and... go check on him.
