Jason, despite unsure of who this is for a second, clings to the person for dear life. His scales shifted to match the colors now around him,but it didn't look right. Either way he clung to the person, shaking but not crying. His freckle scales where white and green again.

The person smelled of frost and winter. He didn't say anything, just guided his steed through the trees, the sound of mad goblins behind them. It was Ash.

Jason, for some odd reason, liked the scent, not yet realizing it was ash yet. He looked behind them and growled, seeing their pursuers, and opened his jaws and spat ice. It wasn't like chunks, but it was more a harsh frost you'd face in a blizzard.

"I suggest that we head towards the river," Grimalkin muttered from behind Jason on the horse. "Goblins can not swim." The Winter prince nodded and turned his steed towards the river. "We are going to have to swim from here," Ash said as they arrived at the river.

Jason was shocked at the sight of Grimalkin and then turned and, hearing Ash's voice, realized it was him.
He felt so relieved to see him,he wasn't sure why,and he tried to drown out the joyful pink and teal swirling on his freckle scales but the burst of color only intensified. "I'm willing to swim." His dragon type was multiwing so he was able to swim very well if needed. He felt like he didn't want to leave Ash's side again.

A spear flies past them and into the river. "Time to move," Grimalkin said, jumping down. Ash dismounted, too, offering a hand to Jason.

Jason's pink of his freckle scales burst into a firework type of motion, and he gratefully took his hand. He bared his fangs in the direction of their chasers.

He helped Jason off his massive horse and said. "Alright, we have to swim across. Just make it to the other bank. If you get separated, just stay where you are on the bank and I'll find you." A thick mist hovered over the river and the opposite bank. Grimalkin had already started to swim. One of the bone-tipped spears got too close for comfort to Jason's arm

Jason almost yelped as he jumped from the close call of the spear. He looked up at Ash and gave a nod, surprisingly he trusted him even tho he still was his prisoner. "You came back..."

Ash didn't respond, he jumped into the river.
