"Yes, but don't kill him, I don't think you are capable of that anyways. Just bring him to me, I'll deal with him," Tiffany smiled, Isaac was doing a great job, now to finish Hayden off.

Hayden sighed, falling to his knees as he anger faded, leaving only the sadness behind. He wiped away his tears, ignoring the twisting feeling in his heart as he stood up and started to walk away, drained.

Yes mistress. Inferus dropped him off on the rooftop nearby the lizard's corpse below, running off to go find some lost mortal to eat. Isaac took two long, deep breaths, and slid down right in front of Hayden, landing with the same pristine balance as when he'd landed on the grey's shoulder when they'd first met. Except now something was different.. his crimson eyes weren't crimson. They were a deep, endless, rippling silver of an unnatural vibrance. A gray. Isaac smiled coldly. "Sorry, Hayden. You know, if we had met in another time and place, I think e could've been friends. Maybe even more." With that he grabbed Hayden by his shirt-front and turned him around, pinning his arms behind his back. "Don't fight me, Hayden." He warned, "Or I might feel inclined to do something as I please with you before taking you to my mistress." It was an empty threat, but it sounded so sincerely horrible Isaac felt like it came from somebody else's mouth. He then pushed the small of Hayden's back towards his mistress's domain, his eyes betraying his guilt.

Hayden froze for a second, hurt written all over his eyes, he didn't move for a second, unsure of what to do. Coins, on the other hand, had different plans, she attacked him, growling words that should not be translated and scratched his head. Hayden took the opportunity to push his emotions away and break away from Isaac and run in the opposite direction, ignoring the pain that blossomed inside him.

Nyx, with a quick reaction time, lifted her hand and faced her palm towards the lizard creature. She glared at it, a ring of fire forming around its neck. When she clenched her hand into a fist, the ring of flames now wrapped completely on its neck and throat. It burned, Nyx watching as the neck of the creature grew a charcoal black.

The creature thrashed, looking scared as it tried to get away, biting harder into the boy while trying to do that. It finally went limp and the boy climbed out of it's mouth, a pained look in his eye as he crawled to his sword, which was broken.
"Hey! You broke my sword," He looked sad but also grateful to be safe as he picked up what was left of it, a handle, the blade was a pile of pink goo "We should head to the village of lost souls, your friend is there."

"You're welcome," Nyx muttered lowly to herself. "Didn't I already say I don't know where that is?" She rolled her eyes, glancing over the tall grasses of the meadow.

"We know now," He pointed to the east, where the sky was starting to turn grey "That's where they are."
He looked down at his melted sword glumly "Now I have nothing to protect myself with," He looked at her with giant puppy dog eyes, ignoring the fact that he didn't even know her name.

"Please don't tell me you're asking me to protect you the entire time." She glared at him, noticing the puppy dog eyes and waiting a few moments, letting out a sigh. "Whatever, fine. You just lead the way, the last time I tried to find some place it ended badly. Besides, what's your name?"

"I'm Carter! Let's go," He walked in the direction of the grey clouds, looking back every once in awhile to see if she was keeping up "You are? How where you able to do that? With the fire I mean."

Nyx simply nodded and began to follow him, "I'm Nyx. With the fire, let's just say it was a coincidence."
