Alex liked the sound of the salad and club burger, so he smiled and agreed to that. He laughed lightly when she said how Gale always ordered the same thing. "No variety whatsoever?"

Alex found himself smiling at Gale as he watched the human lean on the counter. He ran a hand over his hair and down his braid. "Odd. I had the hood up on the coat," he replied.

"Must have fallen off at the door." Gale said with a kind smile. It was nice to have someone to talk to over dinner, it was a pleasant change. "So how was it?"

Alec seemed to heave a sigh at the comment of his hood falling off. His hair sometimes curled when it got wet. He hoped having it tied in a tight braid kept it from doing that. He looked at Gale with a soft frown. "How was what?"

"The kiss at the door? Was it worth it?" He asked after a moment. With another sip of the coffee he wished down the blush that wished to show on his cheeks again.

Alec thought about it and wished his beverage would show up sooner. He tapped his chin, then looked at Gale, slightly flushed. "I believe I did, yes."

"Here you are." The woman said as she set the drink down along the counter. "Sorry for the wait." She nodded before leaving again. Gale looked down at his own cup before turning to the elf.
"Would you like another then? I have plenty more where that came from." He said unable to hide the blush coloring his cheeks.

Alec thanked her politely before taking a sip of his beverage. His cheeks turned a shade darker at the question and he looked at Gale, feeling flustered. "Not right now..." He replied, looking around nervously. He looked back down into his cup to avoid eye contact.

"After dinner then, I'll be waiting." He smiled after a moment. A few minutes later the food arrived.
"Careful boys is still hot alright?" The woman warned as she put it down in front of them. "Would you like any sauces?"
