Ricky felt burning at the back of her head.The patch was overheating like last time.She knew that exact feeling but a magical outburst has overtaken her.She pulled at her ears,struggling to keep it in.

Savanna realized what was happening and yanked up Ricky. By her hand, she drew Ricky through the halls. She ran with ricky outside to keep her from exploding indoors.

She couldn't hold onto her uncontrollable magic for longer, exploding with a beam shooting out of her horn.It zoomed into the forest, disappearing from their eyes.Ricky frantically pulled off her patch and told Savana to check the patch for anything.As soon as she said that,she fainted again.

Savanna looked over the patch and found a strange bit of liquid.... Poison. She threw it in fear and screamed. She knelt by Ricky, who had just passed out. She picked her up and ran to her room. When she passed the lunch room, she yelled Eric's name, hoping he would hear her. She put Ricky on her bed and sat down at her vanity dresser. Ghosts started to scream at her again. She covered her ears and cried, hearing their miserable moans and screaches. She screamed at them to go away. When they did not, she picked up a knife she had in her boot and began to slash the wall, crying all the while.

Ricky when passed out had another flashback.It was her former mother and father who is currently dead because of an unexpected attack to them.Her mother took care of her when she was hit with a poison dart.She could only clean the wound and try to drain the liquid until Ricky absorbed it in her fangs.'She's not getting hurt by it, she's using it to her advantage.I think her body takes the substance and stores it in her fangs.' her mother said.Her father picked her up and held her.'Remember kid, if you get hit by a poisonous thing do not fear.Your body automatically takes it and either merges it with your magic or store it in your fangs.' he said.The flashback vanished,causing Ricky to gasp in consciousness but was extremely weak.She was pale,scared by the flashback.'I can't die from this but my powers are weaker until 2 days.' Ricky said, rubbing at her aching head.

Savanna was in a fit and could not think long enough to tell if ricky was a ghost or not. she breathed heavily as she held the knife in front of her. She froze about a foot away from Ricky, and did not move.

'I'm okay I'm serious.Even though I'm weaker I'm not dead.' she said, limping towards Savana.

She snapped out of her trans, sitting on the floor. "You need to rest" she insisted, looking at the knife, putting it back in her boot. "no more patches for you."

Ricky did what she was told and rested.'Those patches were evil.I've hated those things as soon as I saw them.' she stated, laying her head on a pillow.
