She jumped to a higher tree, and decided that calming down could wait. She settled in a nook of branches, her back to the trunk. Crystal felt scared because when her true self took a peek, she hadnt noticed how dark it was. The dark was her greatest fear. She shivered slightly.

"****** it's getting dark..." Adam hissed tending to his food. Right he would just have to eat it like it was. Placing it in a scrap of cloth he packed up making his way back to his home, which was a nice storage container on the edge of the woods. It was safe enough from the undead.

Crystal felt insecure, so she shifted to the side so she could summon a knife. Underneath her, a branch broke, and fell loudly to the ground. She quickly scrambled up onto another, safer branch. Where she sat, anxious about what mightve heard the crash, she adopted a defensive and alert stance, just to be careful.

He was too far away to hear the sound. Once at home he entered the storage container and turned on his flash light.

Crystal froze for a few minutes, then relaxed. She was glad that no Darkseeker heard the noise. Now, she had a problem. She had gotten lucky this time, but the needed to continue to the spire. That would make noise, and she definitely couldnt get lucky a second time. Crystal reached into her bag, and and brought out a pill bottle. This was her last resort. It would put her true side to sleep for a couple days, but it would eventually come back. She poured a pill into her hand and snapped her head back, with her palm on her mouth. She downed it. She suddenly felt drowsy, so she strung her two backpack straps around the two branches that had the now broken stump in the middle. This created something to lie on, but she had to do so care fully. She settled in, and quickly fell asleep,

With the meal eaten he settled down in his bed roll. For once he took the mask off his face, leaving the bandages. It was easier to breath at least with it off though it made him rather uneasy. Tomorrow he needed to find another source of water, and some more food if he could.

(Early morning)
Crystal heard a hissing below her. She jolted awake and whipped around, to see a group of Darkseekers underneath her. They were trying to reach Crystal but couldnt. She hopped down, summoned two knives and went to work. When she was done, she had blood spatter on her face and shirt. Crystal gathered her things, and dragged the corpses to a safer place to dispose of them. She came to a clearing, and she began to walk across it, with the bodies in tow. She didnt see much, except a strange abandoned storage container.

Morning came too early. Yawning the man woke and turned the flashlight on. Silently he gathered his things, making sure to grab all of his belongings before slipping the mask on over his face. Sighing Adam opened the door and shut it behind him.

Crystal was still too deep in her own thoughts to hear a clang from the abandoned storage container. She continued on, one knife in one hand, 3 different ankles in the other, just passing infront of it.

The man turned, listening. Adam froze when he saw the movement and quickly pulled the bow forward with an arrow notched. Was the girl entered the clearing he lowered the bow just a bit so the shot wouldn't be fatal if he did have to shoot. "Stop right there!" He yelled voice slightly muffled but the mask.
