She was fast asleep, flicking her battered wings

Naomi gave another curse before pushing herself up. It was now day and she could see all the bruises on her pale skin for the hail. She gave another curse. In her head she was counting, 3 dollars for the jar. She got up to look for water and found a small stream near the clearing. As Naomi looked in she could see the large gash running from her forehead and down her cheek. Naomi began to cry. In her eyes she looked ugly. She sat there at the bank of the river trying to pull herself together.

Hima awoke, flicking her tail. She looked for the gentle human worryingly

Cobalt shifted. He had been awake for hours, but because this small curious looking sylesti was leaning on him while she slept he didn't move. He swung his head to look at the sylesti, his eyes a deep black orb, much like a crows.

Hima flinched nervously, with her eyes wide with fear. Griffis were scarily smart and manipulative in the arena

Cobalt got up slowly and shook out his feathers. He yawned and then went off into the forest to find something to eat for himself.

Kami wakes up with Taki right besides him. Kami then decides to get a drink from the near by stream. He Get a bucket and hears crying to only find Naomi crying. "Its ok Naomi" as Kami tries to calm here down. "Its not that bad why are you crying?" as Kami offers a towel to her to wipe the tears on her face.

She doesn't look at him but takes the towel and dries her face. "It is bad. It's going to leave a hue scar and mother and father will be so cross with me, they won't let me do anything anymore. I would have to give up exploring." she said in a soft husky voice.

She nervously followed. She didnt want to become a meal for something, and she preferred to be able to have a chance if Cobalt attacked her

Cobalt lay in a mossy sun lit patch and was eating berries off a bush idly. He grunted and glanced at the tiny sylesti before going back to eating.
