Out of a strange hidden instinct, Sylver's ears picked up the sound of water, she immediately started heading towards it, jumping in once she reached it. Naturally, her gills picked up breathing where Sylver had left off. She was lucky she could breathe under the surface because of how hard she was hyperventilating.

I catch the plane midair and land next to Draycil. "Anora was my mother. Are any of these names familiar?"

Yes. The name Thunderscale that is my last name." I say as I pet Rex.

"In the next letter.... These are my grandfather's letters... It said..... They were trying to find the offenders... Some of them escaped. Goor, Ramoth, and Thunderscale..... My mother was presumed dead." I sighed. "I don't know when, but she started becoming paranoid. She wouldn't usually leave the house, since she didn't have any ID... She started locking herself up. She pulled us out of school. She wrote protection runes on doors and put seals all over the basement. I walked in her room.... The whole walls were covered with protection seals.. She started becoming physically sick too..... She was such a strong woman. She was so brave and independent...."

I realize my eyes are visibly glowing lurid purple. Wisps of purple smoke trail from my eyes.


"Sorry..... Lost in thought. Ignore me..... I'm going back to the castle." I fake a smile, even though I know it's obvious. I turn to go with a sigh. "Enjoy Earth for me."

"Oh I'm not staying I'm going to get what is important to me then bring it back here." I say still petting Rex.

Rain stood up again and shook her head. "I need to get home, that is the most important thing right now." She said. She quickly climbed up a tree and looked around. "Am I in a different country now? How'd I get to a different country? Was I kid napped? If I was kid napped, why don't I remember it? This is so confusing!" Rain mumbled.

I watch this all unfold, quietly stroking Rex. Suddenly, I see a glint of white fur and spin around.
"Who's there?" I ask. A small girl, about seven, with wolf fur like mine except white steps out of the trees.
"Ember!" I leap over to her ad kiss her on her head full of blonde hair. Then I pull her into a hug.

I grabbed my necklace. Marcus still believed the stories. He was young enough to. I held it close and focused. I had no idea if it would work, but then my little brother fell out of the sky on top of me. Even though he was seven, it still hurt. "Where am I Lilia?" He looked up at me, a tired look in his eyes. I realized it must be the middle of the night on Earth where we were. "Do you have wings?" I ruffled his hair, and saw he had jagged black horns. He had a dark green tail. "You have a tail." He helped in surprise, almost tripping over it. "Are we in Solace?" I nodded. He started jumping. "IT'S REAL I KNEW IT WAS REAL!!! YOU TOLD ME THEY WERE JUST STORIES BUT IT'S REEEEEAAAAAAALLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!" His lashing tail tripped him though, and he fell on his butt.

I hug my brother.
"I never want to go home" I sigh.

With Marcus sitting on my shoulders, I walk over to Josh and his cute sister. "Lemme down!" Marcus jumped off. "I like your wolf!" "His name is Rex." He didn't hear me. Marcus let the wolf sniff him and then started playing with him. "What's your sister's name?"
