"We're coming! Keep talking!" yelled Yuri, sprinting along the bank. Winter grumbled and followed her, calling over her shoulder, "I'd better make sure she doesn't kill herself." She looked at Yuri fondly. Although she was rather gullible, Winter couldn't help but like the kind girl. The look in her eyes when she asked if she was alright. Winter felt a wave of protectiveness wash over her.

Kat: "THREE TIMES."

Theta: he groans.

Kat: she runs to his side. "stay with me now Theta, you can die. help is on the way."


Claradon: he sits up slowly careful about his back. he looks at the two girl. "i am sorry but i dont think we have met yet."

(*facepalms* where is claradon?)

Yuri knew she would have to cross the creek, but the current was strong. She waded in, and found that it was only a few feet deep, although she had walked in several yards. She took andother step and was whisked off her feet. She felt herself tugged under the current and the first thought she had was, "I can't swim."

Winter rounded the corner just in time to see Yuri swept under the water. She didn't panic because the current wasn't too strong, easy enough to swim in. But when Yuri didn't come up in a span of five seconds, Winter ran into the river. She dived under, swimming easily toward the dark, struggling form in front of her.

Yuri felt a hand grab the back of her shirt and haul her above the water's surface. She coughed, gasping for air. She tried to turn to see her rescuer, but whoever it was shoved her ashore and came up beside her. "Idiot! If you can't swim, don't go into a river!" was the first thing she heard. She turned to see Winter, expecting to see anger in her eyes, but instead she found worry. Yuri almost laughed aloud.

Kat: she hears yelling. "hey we are over here!" she yells back. she turns back to Theta. "see told you they would come."

Yuri got to her feet, water running off her clothes. Winter stood up as well and looked Yuri up and down. She was surprised when Yuri answered the question that had been running through her mind. "I'm fine... thanks," Winter turned away to hide her smile and walked toward the sound. Yuri followed her.

Kat: she changes to a cat and curls up in Theta's lap. 'All will be ok.'

Theta: he stocks the cat. "I sure hope so."

"I'm Thera, and you are Claradon, I assume?"

Winter glared at the ground. "Damn. She sees right through me. She knows I was worried half to death about her. She turned to see Yuri walking behind her, smiling to herself for no apparent reason. Winter noticed she was shivering slightly as they passed into the shade of the trees. Winter stopped abruptly, beginning to get mad at whoever was calling them. Yuri was suffering from it. She turned back to the shore, her pace quickening. She was so immersed in thought that she barely noticed a boy stroking a cat which lay in his lap. Yuri walked up beside her and Yuri turned to her for a second. "Take off your jacket. It's soaking wet." Yuri took off the jacket and spread it across a nearby bush. Winter was already sitting on the ground. "Theta! Are you alright?" she asked, as she wrung out her soaking hair.

Theta: he looks at her through feverish eyes. "Yes, you ?"

Kat: 'I am a cat."

Winter looks down at the cat. "And you are Kat. How do we help him?"

Kat: 'if you could find some fever bush leaves and boil them in some water that would help. But I have no clue which plant is what.'

Theta: he lays his head on his shoulder. "What season is this?"
