(sorry had to go back to town. i got a new dog today so i have to take her outside a lot too.)

Kat: "we should get some rest first, it will be a long time in till we get to sleep again." she looks to Yasa. " what of Yasa? he cant stay here to die."

Yasa: he stands slowly."i will come with you , Kat."

Suma looks at Yasa, "Nyet! You should only move to get to a safer place," makes Yasa sit down, "You don't want to open your wound." Lenin, still hiped up, starts chacing his tail. "And," Suma looks at Kat, "how are we going to get any rest with monsters crawling around?"

Kat: "they want find her," points to lark, " for sometime now. i have a spell on the place to help with that. Yasa needs to go with us." she walks over to him and places a hand on his chest. her hand glows blue for a moment then the light fades. "see he is fine now!" she smiles

Suma mumbles to herself, "My mogli by sdelat' chto raneye..." Lenin lightly bites Suma's hand, "Shut up, Lenin!" she bops Lenin on the nose then she says to Kat,"You still haven't answered my question, Kat."

"Where could we take Yasa? Maybe Claradon could carry him away," Lark said looking at the griffin.


"Guys, we ran out of time. Look out the window," he said calmly. Monsters were prowling the streets, and many of them had an eye on Kat's house. Orion stood up and walked to the door. "I suggest we leave before anymore come or we'll be trapped here," he said, his hand on the doorknob.

"I agree!! Lenin! Kill any monster that stands in your way!" Suma comanded as and got ready to fight her way out. She rubbed the side of her snow white dagger with her thumb making it bleed.

Kat: "dont worry we are safe here. as for sleep.." she snaps her figures. "that should help." she looks to Yasa. " do you feel ok?"

Yasa: he had to admit that his chest does not hurt any more, but he had new small scratches every where on his body along with bruises. "Kat?" he says worried.

Kat:"Yes?" she sees his concern." i had only enough magic left to change your major wound to smaller ones, sorry. Now we must sleep."

Suma whines in frustration and grips her dagger harder, "Ok! I'm going to go stand outside and kill anything that comes near!" she growls as she walks out of the door. Lenin follows his owner outside and watches the monsters.

"Come on Suma. Let's go to the guest room," said Lark, walking into the guest bedroom. She sat on the window sill staring out into the night. She was scared. Terrified actually, but not of the monsters themselves. She was terrified that she would run off again. "I won't run again!" she said, promising herself. She lay her head against the wall and stared up at the stars.


Orion lay his sword by his side, an inch away from his fingertips. He lay on the sofa, watching a spider crawl across the ceiling. "Yasa?" he asked, "How did you meet Kat, if you don't mind my asking?" he asked, still keeping an eye on the spider.

Kat: she sees the spider and whispers something. the spider comes and crawls on her hand. to Suma " i would come inside if i were you. the monsters can hurt you out there but cant inside the home."

Yasa: " i was new in town and was broke, so i tried to steal some bread. the baker almost crushed my skull then and there. when the police came i was bruised and battered, but alive. Kat happened to be on her way to the baker's when i was being taken to the gallows. she bribed the police to let me go. she brought me to her home and helped me recover. i have lived here ever since." he chuckles " the baker still gets that look in his eyes when i enter his store."
