Chace Forrest
Chace doesn't mean to make Aspen feel like she has to hold back her tears. Ze just isn't comfortable dealing with some emotions but ze is pretty sure that it's best to let your feelings out as opposed to bottling them up. But, hey, Chace is a hypocrite when it comes to that opinion so ze can't blame Aspen if she decides to stop or continue crying.
"As we all are," Chace gives a nod to accept the fact that Aspen is willing do what she can to win the war. "You said, earlier, that you need my help and I'm not so sure I can offer you aid in terms of buff, melee fighting strength. I want to stay and fight alongside my soldiers to protect my Forest. My people are more inclined to use ranged weaponry and the land which they know by heart to cripple the enemy, and many are more comfortable being scouts and messengers than frontline fighters. I do have troops who are durable and resistant in the face of a human attack, but I would prefer that they stay here, in the Ancient Beech Forest. I think you'll have to go to the Hissing Forest or the Ophil Forest and get either Davon's or Adlin's help if you're looking for tough and thick-skinned soldiers."

Ambrose nods slightly. "I am Experiment #60960. I was created to-"" It pauses from reciting what it was known as and what its goal had been when it had served the humans. It taps its fingers together as it thinks of what it wants to do now. "It doesn't matter what I was told to do. I'm not going to destroy the Guardian of Ophil Forest. I have no motivation to follow orders from people I no longer serve."
"I go by the name Ambrose and I am here to get away from humans. I am willing to fight against them." The NewBorn shrugs, tugs on its hair which has grown longer since it ran away, and looks at the Guardian from behind its bangs, attempting a small, disarming smile. It decides that the Guardians are impressive beings and doesn't understand why the humans wanted to destroy them, even for want of land.

He huff slightly at Ambrose's presentation, for whatever raison he did like the kid, probably because it reminded him of himself at that age tho he woudnt have said so out loud. "Well, i sure hope you dont align with the humans, otherwhise you and i would have had an issue. I am Davon, welcome to Ophil forest, as long as you stay truth to your words you can stay but if i so mutch have the smallest doubt about you, your out." He had managed to keep his tone of voice blank of any emotions, tho his eyes held a sliver of amusement in them, speaking that kind of truth in front of him was somthing only a few would ever dare to do after all.

His nose caugh the familiar sent of Adlin, or more precisely the one comming from the hissing forest, a mix of dryed leaves, closed space and various plants growing in that forest only. Since she was the guardian of it and he rarely encountered members of her clan alone in the previous war, he had ended up associating that sent to her. With how mutch of it there was however, the crocodile coud only assume that it wasnt just her who was now walking in his forest. With an anoyed sigh, he signaled to Ambrose to follow him as he went to investigate what his neighbourg was doing again.

She stayed quiet knowing who would arrive soon, it was a small group, about 10 or so, the rest fled into another direction when she had told them to evacuate but she knew they where safe, the scent of the Crocodile got easier to detect as he got closer but also the smell of something else that uneased her, she wasn't ready for another battle or wanted to get into one, leaning against a tree covered rock she tried catching her breathe but the pain was a little overbearing if she took anything more than just a slight breath

Siela was right beside Adlin, her weapons loaded and her eyes peeled for danger.

He wasnt bothered to hide his sent as he went to the rencontre of the small group. The smell of blood lingered in the air as he got closer, causing him to fear the worst, he didnt quite knew how bad things were out there after all. He emerged from the mud and onto slightly harder ground, studying the group with a warning hiss. They were clearly not mutch to look at, their guardian especialy, in his mind Davon's protective instinct was batteling his stuborn nature torn between scolding them from bringing their issues to his land and helping the wounded feline. " Am i wrong to assume that your plan wasnt as good as you would have hoped ?"
