Nick hears the guards outside of the cabin talking, but he doesn't really care at this point...

He spots his mother, she looks surprised to see him but happy. She stands, waiting for him to shift. He does, grabbing a towel offered to him by a blushing maid. He hugs his mother tightly, stepping back after a moment. "Mom, you know father won't agree to what I'm about to ask but I need you to convince him. Nick... He-he's back at the cabin in the forest that I told you about, some boy threatened him if I didn't... Stop caring for him." He whimpers. His mother's eyes widen, suddenly she snarls. "Your father will agree to help you, I promise you, son." She whispers, kissing his temple before striding off quickly.

His father comes over to him, clapping him on the back in greeting. "Welcome back son, I knew you just needed to blow off some steam. What do you need me to do?"
