Hagin sprinted down an alleyway with Ajal pratically on his tail. Slipping under a loose board Hagin disappeared into the subway with Ajal chasing after him.

Knuckles skidded at the turn, but quickly darted inside. He smirked, as he could see much better down in the subway than above in the streets.

A sound of a coming train could be heard as the two wolves flattened themself against the wall.

Knuckles felt the slight vibration in the tunnel before he heard the train or spotted the headlights. He backed against the wall and growled softly.

Ajal and Hagin were in the same position until the train passed then they chased again.

"Chase him out of the tunnel!" Knuckles shouted to Ajal. "We don't wanna get killed, and against my better judgement, I'd rather he not die by train either!"

"Working on it!" Ajal yelled back.
Hagin disappeared.

Knuckles paused a moment, then continued down the tunnel. "He hasn't bothered to cover his scent, and the foot falls echo. This way."

Ajal followed Knuckles down the tunnel.
Hagin ran full speed into a crowd of mobians boarding the train. Slipping onto the train right before it took off he waves good-bye to his prusuers.

Knuckles lowered his head. "Oh, no. I'm not throwing down the towel yet." He rushed over to a map showing all of the train routes, then nodded to himself. "Ajal, grab on tight. I ain't Sonic, but I can still run down that train."
