Locke sighed. "Ye don't know, mate. Either way..." He glanced over at Selkie briefly. "Tha's prob'ly the reason ye should go with 'im. Assumin' he plans to take 'im, Kaladin's too pliable to presuade 'im from most situations,"

"That's why you have Yannis who he should listen too," Nathanial argues, "besides you need a crew, offered to teach Marcos English, and have not quiet done it."


"Not all of the stream will be frozen so breaking the ice won't be impossible just be careful," Douglas warns.

Locke huffed. "Marcos can stay iffin he wants, and Ah won't turn ye down iffin ye plan ta stay as well, but Ah really think ye should stay with Selkie. You know, he really looks up ta ye."

Kaladin nodded once. "Alright then. Kai, come on."

Kai follows Kaladin out the door.


"He doesn't need my help," Nathanial replies, "besides Marcos and I are a team if nothing else."

Locke sighed, pacing a bit. "... I... may have ta think aboot this."

Nathanial nods once, "Alright."
Selkie looks over noticing the issues, "Is there a problem?"
"No."
"You sure?"

"Don't worry yerself about it laddie." Locke assured him.

Frowning Selkie walks away, "Alright fine but those who don't want to come with me can go with you if you want them."

Locke gave a short nod.
