"I don't see how, it's not like we're the only electric species out there."
Scias shook his head, taking a seat on the couch.
"..Your last name's Palintine?"
He asked, his voice softening a bit.

X rose an eyebrow at the board she went to cover as he let Basil slid off his back, but figured it was best not to ask too many questions. He was still mildly irritable she went through his things, but he certainly wasn't going to pull the same move.
He took a seat in a chair across from Scias, yawning slightly, already beat from enough shenanigans for one day.

Zeth*

"Why do you wan to know, Zeizan."(might not have spelled that right, but plz roll with it lol) She said as she continued to try to pull the bullet out of her shoulder. Before she had to answer any more questions, she put a cloth she had grabbed in her mouth to bite down on. She worked at her shoulder and grunted a bit as she dug her dagger into her skin, but before too long, a small bullet rolled onto the floor.


Basil*

She watch silently

"Just.. curious. You also know I could have helped you with that. Claws are pretty useful."

"Don't push your luck with her, already looks about ready to cut your tail off, kid."

Zeth*

"Thank you X, someone needed to tell him that." she said in a surprisingly sincere tone. "I can handle myself" she mocked, doing another one of her terrible impressions of Scias.

Scias
"I mean.. You say that, but you look like you're going to cry again."
He shrugged nonchalantly.

Zeth*

She was pissed. "I am not going to ******* cry, okay!?! I haven't cried in years, and that's not changing now. " She stormed over to him and held the blade to his chest. "Piss... off" she demanded before going over to the med supplies and grabbing the rubbing alcohol. She made all of the shelves shorter a while back to made sure she could reach them. Zeth seemed to be grumbling a bunch of pointless insults as she applied the alcohol to the wound.

X chuckled as Scias seemed a bit shellshocked from the outburst, taking a moment to compose himself.
"See, kid, I told you. You do not **** with a woman like that. Take it from experience."

Scias
"Oh, sure, like you're the one to listen to when it comes to relationships, two-bit. You messing around with that Protector almost got us all killed and dragging into this stupid war in the first place."

"Didn't know the situation then like I know it now. All I can say in my defense.
But I can say, you gotta stop putting this girl through the ringer.
Both of 'em.
Gettin' all caught up in your ego like this, you're gonna find a knife in your back one if these days. Don't want to start takin' bets on which one though."

Zeth*

Deciding it was a good idea to chime in, "I swear to you, if he never learns to take your advice, then it will be my knife in his back...and my other knife...and maybe a few bullets. ^{You're lucky I went back to drag you away from Corin.}"

By this time, her arm was wrapped. This was the second time today someone had decided to damage her arm. First Scias' claws, and now a bullet. what was next, amputation?!?

She sighed, ready to start venting, in fact- "Why the hell would you dive right back down into danger? You knew as well as I did that Corin figured out what you were and wanted you, dead or alive. I did my best to cover for you, to convince him you weren't the species he thought you were, but no. You had to try to get killed anyway. To hell with you!"

It wasn't apparent with his visor on, but seeing her so angry had suddenly made him very uncomfortable with himself and the situation. He didn't even find himself questioning why, only finding himself getting up to lightly hug her to try and calm her down.

"..Look. You probably hate me now, I get it. You have good reason to. But I just.. want to say I'm sorry, alright?
It was stupid, really, really, really stupid, letting old habits get the best of me like that.. Should have just taken your advice and stayed out of it. You wouldn't have gotten shot if I had."
