Coral smiled. *i know that.* she walked to the stairs, turned back to Taika, said, *thanks,* then flew down to eat.

Taika smiled and followed on paw.

when everyone arrived, Shine walked onto a small podium and said, *i have a few announcments to make.

first. Neptune has been killed by one of our guests.* murmurs and looks rose. *but they will not be charged, due to Neptune taking his hypnosis sessions with Coral too far.

second. our guests are allowed to come and go as they please for the extent of their stay.

and third. we have been noticing something about our home. while we will not specify what, after the feast we will have a mandatory evacuation to our allies at Fire Cave.* yells rose from this, and Shine yelled, *they are our allies now! we dont have to fear them!*

*OH YEAH?!* a voice called from the back, as a Water Pheonox with a scar all across his face and a stump for a leg jumped on the table. *the hounds burned my body and attacked me as soon as a surfaced on their beach! if we have to flee to there, i will stay and die here!* more yells joined him, and Shine looked at the Fire Pheonoxes and her kids for help.

Pyre looked down with ears drooped, "That was probably my parents." she said softly, Luna's eyes widened in surprise, "Mom and dad would do that?!" Pyre nodded, "They got rid of me didn't they?"

Shine frowned, then faced the others, and yelled, *we dont have to fear them!*

the scarred WP growled. *really. they have attacked us whenever we surface in their borders, but if we give them stuff they smile and accept it, then forget who got them that stuff anyway! where do you THINK, Healer, that you found your healing lava teqnuique?!* he yelled at Luna. *ill tell you. we TOLD you! we told you about our geysers, then you copied us! then we gave you riches to end those lava pools, and you took the gold and killed us! so, id rather die here than be with the likes of YOU!*

This made Pyre furious, "ENOUGH!!!" she roared, Luna looked at the scarred WP, "I learned my power by instinct, I made those pools be instinct, I don't care how you think we are, but we are no longer your enemies." she said calmly, but her eyes flashed with anger.

the WP chuckled darkly. *really. you made them from instict. WE GAVE YOU THAT INSTICT!* he roared. he took a deep breath, then said, *if you are our allies, give me proof.*

Coral rose and said, *im your proof. now, Riptide, shut up so i can talk.*

Riptide shut up, shocked that Coral could talk. so did everyone else, even Shine.

Coral stood on the table and said, *i trust the Fire Pheonoxes with my life. not just becuase i went to them and met them. i found that they, while a bit hotheaded, are great fighters, and they dont remember us. while you say its rude and wouldnt want to be near them, i say, why not start fresh? we have tried, but we never stay on the surface. why not this time? our homes under threat, so this is a good time as any. and they have things we only dream about. why cant we be a community of Pheonoxes, living and thriving together? why? i ask you, WHY? why hold the hate? why deny who your related too? why stay away from them, only to die? why not start fresh, with a new home and new freinds, and... just, why?* she took a deep breath and said, *i have found plenty of things on the surface, some given from us decades ago, some made from their own paws. i found freinds, love,* she smiled at Pyro, *and hope. Hope that we can unite under... under each other. support each other, as one nation, one group. now, if you still dont want to, then the doors outside, and closing. i suggest you go.*

Pheonoxes looked left and right. Riptide snorted, and growled to Coral, *you may have found your voice, but it wont stay for long,* before turning and walking out the door. a few other Pheonoxes followed, but most stayed.

Coral smiled, and said, *thank you to those who stayed behind. may the water be under our wings, and may good luck rain on you.* the Pheonoxes smiled, proud of being worthy of being blessed by the princess.

Coral stepped down, and Pyro smiled and licked her. (hes still a Pheonox, so its not weird.)

Pyre, Taika, and Luna listened to Coral's speech with a smile.

Shine smiled, and said, *let us feast!* and the feast began.

as Pyro and Coral cuddled and ate, Shark walked over and talked to his sister. Shine asked Pyre, Luna, and Taika, *hwo long have you known Coral could talk?*

"Not that long ago actually." Pyre said, Luna and Taika nodded as they took a bite of their food.
