Nagisa seemed taller now that all the trees went around to dwarf him, though Roan was still taller by half a foot or more " You okay Matty?.." he asked looking back at you in a caring way.

He smiled and reached out his hand, But as he did a shadowy figure emerge from the snow with glowing eyes and lounged at the group "Nagi!" Roan yelled, and Nagisa instinctively stood in front of you protectively with hi arm around you as the creature charged, Roan doing the same with Niba But before it reached you Nagisa held up two fingers and swiped them in the direction of the ground " BORDER!!" he yelled a large wall of flames separating the group and the beast

I press against him and put my face against his side. I nervously look out and grab one of my daggers shakily holding it out in fear

He held you a bit closer taking the knife from your hand and stroking your ears the fire wall fading and the beast gone.

The creature trotted along in front of you its tail held high as you travel through the underbrush before coming to the mouth of a cave
in there? he asked silently, looking down at the creature, drawing both short swords
