The trip home was pretty short but it felt long and boring. When you opened the door no one else was home yet.

They live on and nothing special comes from the mark. At least not that we know of." Hunter gave you a concerned look, "You might want to warn Axel incase it appears again. It's never showed up more than once a year, but who knows."

I smile faintly as she pulls me along, glad to have already found someone to call a friend at this school. Still, I find myself glancing around as we walk, wondering who will end up being a friend, and who will end up being an enemy.

(Sorry my brain was thinking Hunter but my hands typed Ashton instead.)
As expected he was already awake even though you knocked him out earlier. He wasn't out of bed but he couldn't seem to fall back asleep because he was rolling around from side to side in bed. He stopped rolling and looked up when you walked in, "Why'd you knock me out?!" he whined

So far everyone seemed really friendly. In fact they were so friendly that it was weird because this doesn't happen in normal schools. As you rushed by almost everyone you passed waved at you and Kyla with a huge smile, only a few who were talking didn't.
"This is the labratory!" Kyla beamed then pointed to the room next door, "The computer Lab!" she had and extraordinarily loud voice.

About 30 minutes after you came home and made your snack your parents finally showed up, "WE'RE HOME!!!" you heard your mom's voice from the front room as she walked into the kitchen and put her keys down.
