The dark liquid that was emitting from the previous apple quickly overtakes the new apple and the second apple you put down shrivels up, as if it aged instantaneously. WHat do you do?

Use it to soak up the liquid

You dunk it in the liquid to soak it up, but the liquid quickly devours the leaf, since it is alive, and it rots and falls to the ground. You think that you can see a sponge next to you. What do you do?

I look around for something else to feed the sylestie

The sylesti suddenly jumps back, as the black liquid spread and touched the sylesti's feet. The liquid leaves a burn mark on the Sylesti's feet. What do you do?

Use the sponge

You pick up the sponge, and it quickly soaks up all of the liquid. You can see a small, rock, carved bowl. What do you do?
