"They don't work! I can only glide with them! And that means going down!" She still looked pretty worried, for the fact Scias was being stupid and that she had to jump over two buildings.

Zeth*

"You'll be fine!" Zeth shouted to Coralsi again.

She Gave a quick 'thank you nod' to X before handing off Basil. She jumped down in a few bounds to Scias.

"They are all armed with both EMP's and various other weapons that I am not looking to get tangled with. Please, go up the fire escape. They will kill you, GO!" She demanded as she pulled out her trusty pistol.

The goons were already shooting, and unlike Scias, she hadn't had any armor on. Zeth began to shoot the men as best she could, having to close her eyes to aim. She felt a bullet graze her side. They really needed to go...now



Basil*

She clung onto X for dear life. "What a mess" she mumbled, seeming not at all surprised by the situation.

"W-well then, here goes." She bounded backwards a few steps. Running, she launched herself over the edge, eyes closed. If she was going down and was about to die, she would have had no idea at all.

Hexic turned into an eagle, following Corasi and preparing to transform and catch her if she fell. He was also keeping an eye on everyone else, but Corasi had seemed really worried.

(Hey, P3, I noticed you spelled Corasi Coralsi a few times. Was that on purpose? I'm confuzzled little oof choild.)

Her eyes were still closed, and she barely breathed. She was mumbling something, almost as if she was praying to god to not die.

Scias
"Fine, fine." He yelled over the gunfire, gritting his teeth as he fired on two of the men
Scias before running, pulling his way up the fire escape.
"I told you idiots not to wait on me."

X
X secured Basil over his shoulders and back as he motioned the others to get going and taking off himself.

(Nah, just me having a stroke, sorry. lmao)


Zeth*

The me began to fire the EMP's, but all Zeth could do was pray they wouldn't hit Scias. Some were getting pretty darn close to hitting their mark.

On of the pistol bullets found it's way to her shoulder. It wasn't deep, but it sure as hell hurt. "Tch...Blaming that one on you. You made me go back and drag your tail outta' there. That was a brand new shirt too." She complained as she reached the top of the building. She had several small grenades on her. She used on of them to collapse the fire escape and prevent their pursuers from continuing up. She ran to catch up to the others, unsure of where to go next.


Basil*

She looked back to see a small explosion. She just hoped no-one was hurt. Maybe, just maybe, everyone would come out of this alright.

When she finally reached the other side she began to breathe again. She opened her eyes, and started to calm down. "Please don't tell me we'll have to do that again. But we most certainly will because this is what has been happening lately."

Scias
He was a bit dazed from the EMP burst nearby, but was far enough away to avoid most of the blast as he caught up to the others, sputtering a bit of electric from his breath.
"The hell's the point of even trying to capture me if they are just going to use EMPs to do it? ..Idiots.." He looked up at everyone and flicked his tail.
"You guys good? No one else is hurt?"

X
"..And ya just now ask that? God, kid, sometimes you're denser than a brick." He flicked a few sparks in his direction, causing Scias to jump back.
"So, Zeth, yeah? You still got that hideout of yours you were talkin' about?"

"I'm... fine. Are you okay? Still dense as ever I see." She stood up, panting a bit. After hyperventilating this was pretty normal for her.
