Stalker leaped at Tradewind.
Cinder gently moved Tradewind aside so she could go after Ajal who was scrammbling away.
A bolo wrapped around Ajal's legs bringing him crashing down as Fangs went to go tie Ajal up.


Using a mock blow Reaper brings the sycthe around trying to catch Knuckles offguard.

Knuckles dodged the blow he thought was coming, but ended up slamming right into the actual blow. He flinched, regained himself and bounded back over to Reaper. As he sprang up for another blow, he tapped into the energy rippling through the ground. He was confindent in his ability to beat the intruders, but he wasn't ready to take any chances.

Tradewind cawed in protest and flew off. With a feral snarl, Dizzy bounded over and pounced at Fangs.

Just then, about four or five other wolves seemed to materialize out of the surrounding foliage, all fangs barred.

Cinder scrapped her spear on the ground ignighting a flame on the tip of it, "Stay back! I don't want to hurt you."
Fangs growled savagly as he pulled out his knives, "Last warning leave us to our job."


Reaper took a deep breath and used Earthshaker* to throw Knuckles off balance without hurting him.

Neither do we! Let Ajal go, and we'll leave you alone. You're outnumbered. Dizzy barked.

Knuckles hopped out of the way and crouched down low. His quills bristled, and he prepared a spindash of sorts.

Reaper recongized the bristling quills and prepared to defend.

"So we have faced worse numbers before," Cinder growled, "and they were armed to the teeth."
"If I may ask, why do you care about him so much when he will turn on you," Fangs asked.

Why are you trying to hurt him? Another wolf asked. He's one of you!

Knuckles let fly. His spin wasn't nearly as fast as Sonic's but there was a lot of force behind it.

Reaper deflected it using Earthshaker.


"We aren't," Cinder protested, "but he needs to answer for his crimes. And he isn't one of us."

The echidna returned to circling Reaper, eyes narrowed in contempt. "It's too bad. I was beginning to trust you guys, too. Why turn around on me now, huh?" He spoke. His wording was casual but his tone was dangerous.

Ajal tried to crawl away only to have Fangs throw a knife and pin Ajal's jacket to the ground.
"More like a life sentence," Cinder corrected.


"For the record you trusted a murderer," Reaper matched Knuckles's tone, "so don't talk about trust and being betrayed when you knew from the second you saw him he would betray you."

"I'm talking about you!" Knuckles bellowed, stopping in his tracks to pin Reaper with a cold stare. "You knew he was under my protection. If it wasn't for him, I would've helped Ruby with that sythe right away. Chaos, your pack was looking out for Ajal while he was in the freaking hospital when I could not. What's changed since then?"
